About  Monastir

Monastir/Skanes is Tunisia’s quiet resort area.  The hotels are located along a beautiful stretch of white sand beach, halfway between the quiet town of Monastir and the bustling city of Sousse.   Horseback riding, quad bikes, karting are available near the hotels.  Monastir features a marina and some excellent fresh seafood restaurants for those who tire of hotel fare as well as historical sites and a local market day.   Monastir’s 9th century fort has drawn Moviemakers have been drawn to Monastir to film the likes of The Life of Brian and Jesus of Nazareth. Nearby Sousse is a bustling city and tourist resort, easily accessible by bus, taxi, or special trains that serve the hotel guests.   Excursions to amusement parks, wild animal parks, water parks offer good family options. We also organize excursions to Carthage and to the desert, where the adventures of 1001 Nights are waiting to be discovered as well as film sets of Star Wars and The English Patient.

Unlike other tour operators, you will never find us advertising a low priced special, only to discover that the golf is not included.  We take the hassle out of your holidays.

Flight time from the UK and most of Europe is less than 3 hours. Flights may be selected to either of two convenient airports: Scheduled flights are available to Tunis (TUN) from Gatwick and Heathrow and most European cities. Charter flights to Monastir (MIR) arrive nearer to the golf courses and are available from most UK airports and many European cities.
